Recent advances in genetic profiling have the potential to transform approaches to assessment of an individuals risk of disease. The StoreGene system is at the vanguard of applying  genetic testing for cardiovascular diseases. With a UCL team of leading medical experts, technology has been developed to provide detailed analysis of an individuals genotype, at a set of validated risk SNPs which are uploaded onto a digitised web-based system. The individual genetic profiles are run through pathology models of disease and morbidity risks can be assessed, on top of conventional risk factors (CRF). To ensure the highest levels of accuracy, our validated risk SNPs are constantly updated allowing for greater accuracy in our genetic profiling and risk scores. StoreGene currently use 20 risk SNPs for our genetic profiling. StoreGene’s initiative can offer a customisable introductory service ranging from a briefing paper, selected data from results of our studies, a process and management system customised to your requirements and either a small or large scale run through test and results. This will give you a detailed understanding of StoreGene’s genetic profiling and how it can benefit your organisation and its clients. “To accurately determine and store securely genetic information across individual genomes and map this to disease and risk factors, thereby enhancing interventions and improving the quality of life for our users” © StoreGene, 2011
